The action is pretty stiff, but a good cleaning and some use should slick it up, I'm betting. Maybe that will get better with some use as well. The actions are aluminum and, of course, the furniture is polymer. So the only steel on it is the barrel and mag tube. The pistol grip is rubber and feels pretty comfortable. Overall, without having shot them yet, for $140 you just can't go wrong. They do also appear to be the exact same thing as the one I got from Palmetto years ago for $99. The only issue I could think of with my older one is it tends to hit pretty low with slugs past 10-15 yards. I have to hover the front sight well above the top of the receiver for an accurate hit. But I've made hits with it out to 50 yards, so not a big deal.
